We started with enthusiasm. The discipline came right after.

Founded in 2024. We ship from London the same day you order, and describe hardware the way we’d want it described.

About us

We are a hardware shop for people who build their own machines — graphics cards, memory, boards and the unglamorous parts around them. We count what is on the shelf before we publish it, and ship from London the day your order lands.

  • Counted stock

Shelf counts are checked before they publish — what the site shows is what we hold.

  • Same-day dispatch

Orders before the cut-off leave London the same day, in one parcel.

  • Specs, not adjectives

Every part described by its sheet, the way we’d want it described.

How we work

From shelf to doorstep

  • Test benchReturned parts earn their regrade here before they resell.
  • WarehouseCounted shelves — what the site shows is what we hold.
  • PackingOne parcel per build, sized to the order.
  • DeliveryOut the door the same day for London orders.

Every step runs in-house in London — these are the four rooms your order actually crosses.

Open roles

We’re hiring

Every one of them is a real seat with work already waiting on it, not a talent pipeline. If none of them fit, we’d rather you waited for the one that does.

  • Customer support

    Remote or office1–3 years

You answer the people who have already paid us, and the ones still deciding whether to. Order status, a card that didn’t go through, a part that turned up wrong — none of it is glamorous and all of it is urgent to whoever is asking.

We don’t hand out reply scripts. You’ll need the catalog well enough to tell someone their board won’t take that chip, and to say it plainly the first time.

  • Site administrator

    Office, London1–3 years

You keep the storefront honest: counts that match the shelf, prices that match the invoice, product pages that describe what is actually in the box.

Most of the job is catching things before a customer does — a spec sheet copied off the wrong revision, last year’s cooler in this year’s photo, a category that quietly emptied overnight.

  • Supplier manager

    Office, London3+ years

You hold the far end of the supply line: distributors, lead times, and the gap between what a portal reports as in stock and what will actually ship this week.

When a delivery slips, you’re the first to know and the first to say so. Our shipping promise is worth exactly as much as the dates you agree to.

  • Social media specialist

    Remote or office2+ years

We don’t run social channels yet. This is the seat for whoever starts them: empty accounts, no house style to inherit, nothing to maintain on day one.

You’d decide what steelstorm sounds like away from its own site — what a build log looks like as a post, which launches are worth covering, and what we say nothing about at all.

Four ways into the site from here: the shelves, the footprint, the writing, and the people who answer.
