Nine of these across the front, top and side of a big case, and I would do it again. What you are paying for is not airflow, because plenty of cheaper fans move similar air. You are paying for the fact that nine fans produce three cables. Three rows, three leads, one controller, and behind the motherboard tray there is nothing but a couple of neat runs. Anybody who has tried to hide twenty seven individual leads for the same number of fans will understand what that is worth. They are also properly quiet. Below half speed I cannot distinguish them from the room, and at full tilt they are a rush of air rather than a whine or a rattle. Four months of that and nothing has changed.

There is nothing at all to fault here. They spin down to a genuinely low speed without stalling, which matters when you have four of them and want a silent desktop, and they still shift enough air at forty percent to keep a hot graphics card comfortable. The fact that a whole row comes out as one piece for cleaning is quietly brilliant.

These have earned their place several times over. The build quality is a step above the fans I have bought before. The frames are rigid, the corners have proper rubber pads so nothing transmits into the case, and the connectors on the sides are solid metal contacts rather than a flimsy plug. I run them on a curve tied to the graphics card rather than the CPU, and most evenings they sit at a speed where the loudest thing in the room is the desk fan. Under a long session they lift and you hear air, never bearing noise, and nine months in that is still true!

Fitted three of these as my first go at a properly tidy build. The interlocking works exactly as advertised. You slide one fan into the next until it clicks, screw the row in, and run one lead to the controller. My cable management, which has always been the worst part of any machine I have built, now looks deliberate. Two things to be aware of before you buy. The screws supplied are a different length for radiator and case mounting and it is not obvious which is which, and the fans are noticeably thicker than a standard 120, so check clearance if you are mounting them against a radiator in a narrow gap. Two weeks of use and neither has caused me any trouble.

Mostly I am pleased with this set. The lighting is the best I have seen on a case fan, a solid ring rather than a string of dots, and the modular linking really does cut the cable count down to almost nothing. What I did not budget for was the controller taking an internal USB header I was already using, so my front panel USB-C had to give way.
