16GB, silent at idle, and easy to fit
30cm is a lot for a 5060 Ti
Put this in a first build for my nephew and the whole thing went together in an evening. The card wants one 12V-2x6 or the bundled dual 8-pin adapter, and the 650W supply we bought handles it without noticing. Physically it is big for the tier, 30cm, so check the case before you order, but ours had 360mm of room. Performance at 1440p is well past what a fifteen year old needs. Ultra settings, 100fps and up, and with 16GB he is not going to run out of memory for a long time. The fans do not turn at all until the card is genuinely loaded, so the machine is silent for everything else.

Still holding 1440p ultra in everything, still silent on the desktop, and the fans are as quiet as they were a year and a half ago.

16GB at a sensible price
Sixteen gigs at 1440p means never touching the texture slider, five months in.
Used for: 1–3 months
The 16GB is why this exists and it is worth the premium over the 8GB card. At 1440p with textures on ultra it sits around 11GB in the heavier titles, which the smaller version simply could not do without stuttering. Add a cooler that keeps it under 60 degrees and fans that stay stopped for anything on the desktop, and there is nothing left to complain about!

Runs at 58 degrees and you cannot hear it
Big card for the tier
TUF cooler on a 5060 Ti is overkill in the best way. 58 degrees under load, fans at 900rpm, and I cannot hear it from a metre away! Nine weeks in and the fans have not once been audible.

16GB and very good thermals
128-bit bus at a price where a 5070 is in reach
Good card, sensible amount of memory, and thermals that make the whole machine quieter. My reservation is the price, because at what this costs you are within reach of a 5070 with a wider bus, and the 128-bit interface here does hold it back at 4K in a way the 16GB cannot compensate for. At 1440p none of that matters and it is excellent.

16GB and superb thermals
Coil whine uncapped, and three slots on a mid-range chip
Two problems, one of which may be mine and one of which is definitely not. The one that is definitely the card is coil whine. Uncapped in a menu it is a clear, high buzz that I can hear from the other side of the room with a closed case. A frame limiter at 120 removes it almost entirely, but I should not have to run one on a card at this price. The one that might be me is fit. It is 30cm and a genuine three slots, and on a 5060 Ti that feels like ASUS bolting a bigger cooler onto a small chip. It works, thermally it is superb at 57 degrees, but it blocks the bottom two slots in my board and I lost a capture card to it. The 16GB is excellent and the performance is exactly as advertised. Three stars is the whine and the size together. Three weeks in, and the whine has not settled at all.

Never skipped a beat, never made a sound!

Undervolts to 54 degrees with no loss
Cooler is bigger than the chip warrants
Undervolted it to 900mV out of habit and it lost nothing at all while dropping 30W and four degrees. Sits at 54 now with the fans barely spinning. The TUF cooler is wasted on this chip in the nicest way!

Cold, quiet, and 16GB. Nothing else to say
