There is a very good case in here fighting with the software that comes with it. The chassis itself deserves five stars. RapidRoute is the best cable system I have used, the panels come off without tools, and there is a hinged door on the back which means the untidy side is hidden but still reachable. Three RGB fans and the controller are in the box, which at this level you would hope for. The problem is iCUE. It wants to be running all the time or the lighting reverts to a default rainbow, it adds a service that starts with Windows and takes its time about it, and it has twice lost my fan curve after an update. Setting the fans from the board instead means giving up the RGB, because the controller only talks to the software. Three stars is the software, not the steel.

Nothing here is a fault exactly, but a few things caught me out on the build. The three bundled fans are all intake at the front, so the case ships with no exhaust at all and you will want at least one more at the back. The top only takes a 360 radiator if you use slim fans or move the board down a notch, which the manual mentions in one line. And the front panel is tinted glass over the intake, so all the air comes through side slots, which works but you can hear it doing so at speed.

The hinged rear door is such an obvious idea that I do not understand why every case does not have it. Wire the machine up, shut the door, and the back looks as tidy as the glass side. When I added a second drive later it took thirty seconds to get at the cables rather than unscrewing a panel and finding somewhere to lean it!
