Used for: More than a year

    Pros

Access is as good as it gets

    Cons

Door hinges develop play and dust gets everywhere

    Comment

The glass doors are the best and worst thing about this case. Best, because access is instant and it looks like a display cabinet with the aRGB running. Worst, because the hinges carry a lot of weight on two small pins, and mine have developed enough play that the front door no longer sits flush with the frame. It is not falling off, it just does not line up any more, and there is no adjustment. The other mark against it is dust. There is a filter under the PSU and one on the roof, but the whole front is open glass with side intakes, and after two years I am wiping the inside of the door as often as the outside.

Used for: Less than a month

    Pros

Both doors hinge open, front and back

    Comment

Replaced an ageing Corsair 750D that had finally run out of room, and the jump in usability is bigger than I expected from what is essentially a metal box. Both side doors are hinged glass and both swing open, which sounds like a small thing until you have built in it. No panel balanced against the wall, no thumbscrews rolling under the desk. The rear door opens onto a routing area with velcro straps already positioned, and there is enough depth that a chunky modular PSU cable set does not stop it closing. Drive support is the other win, four bays still fitted after the 420 radiator went in the front. Four stars rather than five because two of the five bundled fans arrived with the daisy-chain connectors facing the wrong way, so the hub run is untidy in a case that is otherwise all about being tidy.

    Pros

Cooler than a glass front has any right to be

    Cons

    Glass needs wiping weekly

    Comment

Airflow through the side intakes is better than the glass front suggests. My card peaks at 71 under a long session, which is only two degrees off the mesh case it replaced, and it looks a great deal better doing it. Five months and the fans have stayed silent!

Used for: Less than a month

    Pros

Eight drives, all of them cool

    Cons

Glass is wasted on a cupboard machine

    Comment

Ordered it for the drive cages and stayed for the doors. This is a media server rather than a gaming box, so what mattered was fitting eight spinners and keeping them cool without a wind tunnel. Both cages went in, the front fans push straight through them, and at idle the drives sit around 34 which is better than the NAS they came out of. Only complaint is that the glass makes no sense for a machine that lives in a cupboard, but that is my problem, not the case's.

Used for: Less than a month

    Pros

    Diffused RGB, no extra software

    Comment

The aRGB on the front strip is diffused rather than a row of dots, so it reads as one glow instead of five bulbs. Controlled it from the board header with no extra software, which after my last case is a relief. Everything else about the build was uneventful in the best way!

  • AAAva A.6 July 2026

Used for: Less than a month

    Comment

A note for anyone measuring up before they order, because the listing dimensions do not tell the whole story. It is a genuine full tower and it needs clearance on both sides, not just in front. Both doors swing outward on hinges, so if the case is going in an alcove or between two units you will not be able to open the side you need. Mine sits with about a hundred and fifty millimetres to the right of it and that is only just enough for the rear door. Once you have solved that it is excellent. The build is thick steel, the doors shut with a proper catch, and everything inside is where an experienced builder would expect it. Just do not order it on the assumption it fits where your old mid tower sat.

Used for: Less than a month

    Pros

Same clever catches as the smaller Aorus

    Cons

    Upward facing USB collects dust

    Comment

Second Aorus case in this house, my son has the smaller one, and the family resemblance is obvious in the good ways. Same catch mechanism, same filter design, same fan hub. This one is simply bigger everywhere. Cable channel behind the tray took a fully sleeved set without me having to think about routing order. The one thing I would change is the front IO: the USB ports face upward and collect dust and crumbs, and there is no cover for them.

Used for: Less than a month

    Pros

Tool-free drive cages that still exist

    Comment

Four drive cages, and every one of them slides out on rails without a screwdriver. I moved the whole photo archive across in an evening because I could just keep adding disks. The cages take 3.5 inch drives without adapters too.

Used for: More than a year

    Pros

    Wears well

    Cons

Heavy to shift on your own

Still looks brand new and the doors still shut properly

  • ENElla N.8 June 2026

    Used for: 3–6 months

    Pros

Two radiators and a reservoir with room left

    Cons

Doors are heavy enough to unbalance it

    Comment

Full tower was overkill for a single card build until I put the loop in, and now the extra height is doing real work. A 420 across the top and a 360 in the front both went in without any interference with the board, and the reservoir mounts to the same rail the front fans use. Filling and draining is a two minute job because the drain port sits clear of the PSU shroud, which is not something you can say about most cases. Only criticism is the weight of the doors once the glass is on. Open one too far and the whole tower wants to walk!
