Back-connect cutouts that actually line up
Narrower inside than the E-ATX label suggests
Bought specifically for a Project Zero board, so the cutouts on the tray were the deciding feature. Everything lines up. The 24-pin, the EPS and the fan headers all come through the back of the tray and the panel still closes flat, which was my worry after reading about people shaving cable combs to make it fit. There is a good sixty millimetres of depth behind there, so even sleeved extensions are not a squeeze. The rest of the case is better than it needed to be. Ten fans preinstalled and wired to a hub, so the board only sees one header. Filters top and bottom, both magnetic. The glass panel is on a hinge with a catch, not thumbscrews. One warning: it is E-ATX in name but the width is at the modest end, so a very tall air cooler and a back-connect board together will have you checking the clearance chart before you commit.
