Came from a twelve button MMO mouse where the thumb pad was a grid of identical squares, and I never once hit the right key under pressure. This has six, all different shapes, arranged around where the thumb actually moves, and it took two evenings to stop looking. It is a heavy old thing and the battery only manages a few days with the lighting on, so I turned the lighting off and get a fortnight. Not a mouse for shooters, but that was never the point.

Set the six thumb buttons to the healing spells and the whole raid changed. No more clicking on a bar with the mouse while the tank shouts at you. The shape deserves a mention too. There is a proper shelf for the ring and little finger so the hand is not gripping to hold it up, which after four hours matters more than any button, though it does mean the mouse is a big one. Slipstream has not dropped once, and it charges over USB-C from the same cable as the headset!
