The single frame is the whole point. Three fans in one housing means one cable to the hub instead of three, and the front of my case now has a clean run of light with no gaps between the blades where the mounting posts used to show. Airflow is decent rather than remarkable. GPU hotspot dropped four degrees against the stock fans, which at this price I will take. Fitting took ten minutes because there are only four screws for the lot!

Bought these to tidy the front of a build where three separate fans meant three sets of cables round the back of the tray. The frame solves it, everything is one lead and the lighting lines up perfectly with no dark gap where two fans meet. Five months in they are still dead quiet at the speeds I run them, around 900rpm, and the RGB has stayed even across all three. Do check your case though, the frame is one rigid piece so you cannot stagger the fans round an obstruction the way you can with singles.
