Used for: More than a year
Still the centrepiece of the build and still cold
White does show dust
Looks as good as the day it went in, provided you take a brush to the shroud now and then. Performance has never been a question!
Used for: 1–3 months
Runs cold, looks superb, and the rear fan helps the whole case
Four slots and a full tower minimum
CPU temperatures dropped noticeably once this went in, because the fourth fan pushes air out through the back of the card rather than into the cooler. Beautiful thing. It does need a very large case.
Used for: 1–3 months
Silent for the power it draws and the finish is flawless
For a card pulling well over 500W the acoustics are remarkable. The fans do not turn at all until the core passes 50C, so everything that is not a game is silent. Under a full 4K load they sit near 1150rpm and the core holds 65C with a hotspot ten degrees above it, which is a better delta than cards drawing half as much. The white finish is properly matched across the shroud, backplate and the fan blades, and it has stayed clean so far. Seven weeks of it now and the fans still have not been an issue. Expensive beyond any sensible justification, but as a piece of engineering it is the best thing in the machine by a distance.
Used for: 3–6 months
32GB, superb cooler, and a finish that lifts the whole build
Two driver faults in a row on multi-monitor, and the price is indefensible
Two things keep this from the rating the hardware deserves. The first is drivers. Running a 4K panel alongside a 1440p secondary, the display driver has reset itself on the desktop several times, and both of the last two releases have had to be rolled back for different reasons. In games it has been perfect, which makes it stranger. The second is simple arithmetic. This is over six thousand pounds, several hundred more than the black version of the same card for a colour, and the extra buys you nothing but the look. I wanted the look and I paid for it, but I am not going to pretend it was a sensible decision. Cooling and performance are beyond reproach, sitting at 64C under sustained 4K load.

Cold, quiet, enormous memory, and it has been rock solid
The weight is genuinely a problem without a brace
No performance complaints of any kind, and the 32GB has meant every video project loads without proxies. What nobody warns you about is the mass. Even with the supplied bracket the slot flexes visibly, and after moving the machine once I found the card had shifted enough to need reseating. Anyone transporting a build with this in it should take it out first. Past a year with it and the flex has not improved one bit. Four stars, with the missing one for a mounting situation that a card this expensive should have solved properly.
Used for: 1–3 months
Fastest card you can buy and it looks superb
White shroud has yellowed slightly near the exhaust
Hard to know how to rate this. As a graphics card it is faultless, cold, quiet and absurdly quick at 4K, with 32GB that I have not come close to filling. As an object costing six thousand pounds it has already started to discolour where the hot air leaves the shroud, a faint cream tinge against the white of the rest. It is cosmetic and it does not affect anything. On a card at this price it should not be happening at all. Three stars.
Used for: Less than a month
The white finish is properly done, right down to the backplate
Matching white cables cost extra and the bundled adapter is black
Chose this over the standard Astral for a white build and the finish is genuinely good, with no grey plastic hiding at the ends and a backplate that matches the shroud. Performance and cooling are identical to the black card as you would expect, holding 65C under a full load with the fourth fan venting through the back. The one annoyance is that the 12V-2x6 adapter in the box is black, so if you want the look you paid for you are buying a white native cable as well.
