Quiet and fast
Cool, quiet and quick at 1440p, no notes at all
Used for: Less than a month
1440p performance is genuinely there
Coil whine at high frame rates and it barely fits a mid tower
Performance is not the problem, the frame rates at 1440p are everything the reviews promised. The problem is that this card is 34cm long and my mid tower needed the drive cage out before it would sit flat. Then the coil whine turned up, a proper buzz during menu screens above 200fps. Capping the frame rate hides it. Three stars because at this money I should not be working around it.

Genuinely quiet and it fits
Measure your case first, it is a long card
Fits a 340mm case with about a centimetre to spare, which I measured twice before ordering. Runs cool, sounds like nothing, and the white finish does not yellow under the glass!

Silent at idle and a small hotspot delta
Zero RPM mode means the fans sit still for anything on the desktop, so the machine is silent until a game starts. Hotspot delta stays around 12 degrees on the stock curve, which is tidier than the last AMD card in this case. 16GB is plenty for 1440p textures with everything on! Two months in and the fan curve has needed no attention at all.
Used for: 6–12 months
Custom fan curve is wiped by every driver update
Still five stars because nothing has gone wrong, but the driver panel resets my fan curve every time Adrenalin updates itself. Not a huge job to set again, just tiresome. The card itself has been faultless

White ICE shroud and strong 1440p frame rates
White shroud actually matches the build, and 1440p ultra sits well past 144fps in everything I have thrown at it so far! Three weeks in and nothing has wobbled.
Used for: 6–12 months
Adrenalin has been the surprise here. The undervolt slider took 90mV off without a single crash, and that dropped the hotspot from the high nineties into the mid eighties while the clocks stayed put. Fans then never leave their quiet range in a closed case. It runs Cyberpunk at 1440p with everything up and stays above 90fps, and the 16GB means texture settings are never the thing I turn down first. Sits on two 8-pin cables, no adapter nonsense! Nine months of that undervolt and it has not dropped a frame.
