Swapped the mesh front for the solid one after a year and it took about two minutes, no tools, no dismantling. That is what modular should mean. The LCD is still showing coolant temperature and has not once needed the software reinstalling!

Two things stop this being a five. The first is that the modular parts are sold separately, so the case you configure in your head costs meaningfully more than the one in the box. The second is the top bracket: with a 360 fitted at the roof, the front USB cable has to route across the board because there is no other path left for it.

Dust filters on the front, the roof and the floor, and all three come out without moving the case. That alone puts it ahead of most. The paint around the front IO marks more easily than I expected, though a damp cloth sorts it!

The InfiniRail mounting is the cleverest thing in this case. You slide the fans along the rail until they sit where you want them, tighten two screws, and there are no fixed hole positions to work around. Fitted a 360 offset from the board with no brackets!

The thing I keep coming back to is how little noise it makes for the air it shifts. The stock fans stay quiet at the speeds the case actually needs, because the mesh is open rather than decorative. Four months in and the only complaint is the LCD module, which eats a USB header and comes with a cable barely long enough to reach it.

An honest four rather than a grudging one, because most of what this case promises it delivers. The modular idea is real. Front panel, top bracket, drive rail and fan rails all come off with a screwdriver and go back in different positions. I have already reconfigured it once when I changed from an air cooler to a 360, and the whole job took an evening rather than a rebuild. What holds it back is the LCD version specifically. The screen is lovely and the software is not, and mounting it costs you the top front fan position. Five months on I have the screen showing a static image because the animated ones stutter whenever the machine is busy.

First build for my son and this was the one I chose because everything is screwed rather than riveted, so if he wants to change something later he can. Four ARGB fans already wired to a hub meant no lighting cables across the board, which for a first attempt matters!

Best cable management I have had in a case at this level. The channel is wide, the straps are pre-fitted, and the rear panel closes without leaning on it. Even the fan hub has a home behind the tray rather than dangling.

Came over from a Fractal North because I wanted mesh without the wood, and the FRAME does the same job with more room inside. The drive trays sit behind the shroud on a rail you can slide, so you choose between more storage or more radiator rather than having it chosen for you. Cable bar clips on with no screws. Only niggle so far is that the ARGB hub has four ports and four fans, so no spares.
