Beautiful blue, perfect fit, no regrets at all!

Beautifully made
The price is hard to defend
Gorgeous thing, but fifty pounds is a lot to spend on a bag for a bag

Expensive for a sleeve and worth it
Fifty pounds for a sleeve took some justifying, and I have stopped trying because it has been worth it. The material is a thick padded shell that holds its shape when the sleeve is empty, so the laptop slides in rather than being wrestled in. The inside is lined with something soft enough that the lid comes out clean every time, and there is a separate slim pocket that takes a charger and a mouse without spoiling the shape. Seven months of daily use and it looks new. No scuffing on the corners, no fading on the blue, and the zip runs as smoothly as it did on the first day. If you are protecting an expensive 14 inch machine it stops looking expensive quite quickly!

The laptop comes out clean every time
Adds real thickness to a bag
Bought after a cheap sleeve left a scratch on a lid, and this has been the opposite experience. The lining is a brushed material that leaves no marks at all, and the fit is close enough that the machine does not move about inside. The build is genuinely good, everything stitched neatly, no loose threads anywhere, and the shell holds its shape on a desk. The cost is bulk. It adds a proper centimetre to each face, so a rucksack that used to close easily now needs persuading. Worth it for the protection, but plan for the space.

Padding is on another level for a sleeve
Arrived in a box rather than a bag, which set the tone. What you get for the money is padding. Press it and there is a good centimetre of dense foam that springs back, not the thin sponge in cheaper sleeves, and the corners are reinforced so the shape holds when it is empty. The blue is deep and even with a slight sheen, and the zip has a leather pull that has already survived being caught on a door handle. Only a week of using it so far, so I cannot speak to how it wears, but nothing about it feels like it will let go soon.
Used for: 6–12 months
The fit on a 14 inch machine is exact, which is the whole point of buying a sleeve made for one size rather than a range. It has been in and out of a rucksack most days for the best part of a year and the padding has not compressed anywhere. My only hesitation recommending it is the money. It is a lovely object but it is a sleeve, and cheaper ones do most of this.

Treated myself after a bonus and it is the nicest thing in my bag. The blue is richer in person than online, the zip is smooth, the padding is thick, and my 14 inch machine slides in like it was made for it.
