Bought to replace a rucksack that had started shedding its lining, and the difference in build is obvious. Everything is stitched twice, the zips have chunky pulls that work with gloves on, and the trolley strap on the back slides over a suitcase handle properly rather than half hanging off. It is understated to the point of dull, which for a work bag is the point!

Commuting with a 16 inch ThinkPad and a lunch box every day, and eight months on the bag looks the same as it did new. The water resistant coating has handled a few proper soakings and nothing inside got damp. The back panel has channels that actually move some air, which the last rucksack did not.

Finding a bag that takes a 16 inch laptop and still looks like office kit turned out to be harder than expected, and this is the one that managed it. The laptop section is a proper fit with a padded base, the outside is plain black with a small logo, and the straps are wide with a sternum clip. It looks like something a grown up carries!
