Plain black fabric sleeve, no branding, which is exactly what I wanted for a machine that goes into client sites. The fit on a 15in Dell is snug in a good way. It grips enough that the sleeve does not fall off when you tip it, and the zip has two pulls so you can open it from either end. Four months of daily use and the fabric has gone slightly fuzzy along the bottom edge where it sits on desks, which is cosmetic rather than structural. What stops it being five is the base. There is padding everywhere, but no more of it underneath than anywhere else, and a laptop that is put down hard lands on its own weight. I have started sitting it down on the flat rather than dropping it on a corner, which rather tells you the answer.
