The speed is real and the print quality is fine, so three stars is about everything else. It arrived configured for a network that is not ours and getting it to talk to our directory took the best part of a day, working from a manual that assumes you already know the answer. The panel is dense with options and there is no obvious way to hide the ones nobody uses, so people default to the two buttons they recognise. It is also louder than the specification hints at: not while printing, but when it wakes and spins up, which in a quiet office is a genuine interruption.
