Deliberately oversized, so it sits in its most efficient band
Sixteen hundred watts of TITANIUM in a build that will never draw half of it, which is deliberate. The efficiency curve is flattest around a third load, so a big supply in a modest machine is the quietest and coolest option. Wall meter agrees: 310W at the socket for a machine reporting 293.

Absurd overkill for a single card
A 1600W TITANIUM supply in a machine that peaks at 600W sounds daft, and it is, but the payoff is that the fan has never started. Not once! The other benefit nobody mentions is that the unit runs cool enough that the bottom of the case does not act as a radiator any more.

The overclocking key genuinely changes how it behaves under a spiky load
The overclocking key is the feature nobody talks about and it is the reason I picked this over the Corsair. Flip it and the unit goes from multi rail with per rail OCP to a single big 12V rail, which matters if you are running one card that spikes hard. The fan is a Silent Wings and it shows. It does not turn at all below about 400W, and above that it is a soft rush I cannot pick out from the case fans. One star off for the depth. It is 200mm and the 24 pin comes out of the end rather than the top, so budget for that. Six weeks in and the fan has started perhaps twice.

Quiet as promised but a big lump, and my drive cage had to come out to fit it.

Frameless fan is off below any load a single card build makes
Quietest supply I have owned and I have owned a few. The frameless fan design means there is no ring of plastic to make turbulence, and at the loads a single card build produces it is simply off. Where it loses a star is the cables. They are the sleeved sort, which is good, but be quiet! use their own connector layout at the PSU end, so the leads from my old Dark Power unit did not fit. Not a problem if you use what is in the box, a real annoyance if you assumed otherwise. Efficiency is as claimed. A machine reporting 400W internally draws 424W at the socket, which for TITANIUM at low load is exactly right.

This is the supply for people who care more about noise than lights. There is no display, no RGB, nothing to configure, and the finish is a matte black that disappears in a case. What you get instead is a fan that does not turn until the machine is genuinely working, and even then never rises to a pitch you can identify. My machine has a 5070 Ti and a 9700X, and I have never once been able to say the noise I am hearing is the power supply. Rails are steady, no whine, no click, no heat! Four months of that and I still cannot hear it.

Killed the transient reboots my old GOLD unit caused
Deep, heavy, and it will not take another brand's cables
Came to this from a mid range GOLD unit after the machine started rebooting during shader compilation in a couple of games, which is the classic sign of a supply that cannot cope with a transient. The problem vanished the first evening and has not come back. Whatever be quiet! do with the capacitors on this thing, a 5090 dumping load in a millisecond does not move it. I have watched the socket meter jump from 140W to over 800W between one reading and the next. The other thing worth paying for is the noise floor. The fan is off at anything under a serious render, and there is no coil noise at any frame rate, capped or uncapped, which was not true of the unit it replaced. Downsides: it is deep, it is heavy, and the connectors at the PSU end are the brand's own, so old cables are useless. Five months on and the reboots have not come back once.
