Discreet enough for a house and quick with alerts
Zoom range is shorter than the full size model
Chosen over the bigger model purely on size, and it has turned out to be the better camera for a domestic drive because it does not intimidate visitors. Seven months in, through a wet winter, the housing has stayed clear and the motor has not developed any of the whine my last pan camera had by this point. Alerts on the app arrive within a second or two of something happening, and the notification carries a still so you know whether to bother opening it at half two in the morning.

Discreet, and one cable does everything
Auto tracking follows foxes and shadows until you tune it
Small enough to sit under a soffit without looking like a prison camera, which was the requirement from indoors. Auto tracking is the fun part and the frustrating part. It picks up a person walking up the path and follows them properly, but it will also follow a fox, a wheelie bin lid in the wind and, on one memorable night, the shadow of a tree under a passing car's headlights. Tuning the zones helped a great deal, though it took a few weekends of fiddling. Picture is clean, night colour is decent under the porch light, and the whole thing runs off one cable. Four stars because tracking that clever should not need that much babysitting.
