Three stars because the magnets are not up to the job. The cover holds shut when the case is new and mine no longer does, so it opens in a bag and the screen rests against a book. The rest of it, the tray, the lip, the pen channel, is fine.

Bought this to replace a folio that had gone floppy at the hinge, and it is a clear step up for not much money. The tablet sits in a soft-lined tray with a proper lip over the screen, so face down on a desk touches nothing. The cover folds into two angles, one for typing and one nearly flat for writing, and both hold without creeping across a table. The pen sits in a magnetic channel on the top and has not fallen off in a bag. Five months in, the blue has darkened where my hand holds it and the fabric there feels slightly slick. Not enough to regret it, but at this price I did not expect it to show wear this early.

Went on easily and the cutouts all line up, including the one for the speaker that most cases get slightly wrong. The lip round the camera is generous. It is a touch heavier than the case it replaced!
