Used for: Less than a month
Light enough that the hand stops gripping
Takes an afternoon to recalibrate your aim
Came from a 90 gram office mouse and the first afternoon was all overshooting, then it clicked. Aim is genuinely steadier now, and the shape means I am not gripping the thing to keep hold of it!
Used for: 3–6 months
The hump and the thumb shelf let the hand relax
Right handed only, obviously
The shape is the reason to buy this over the symmetrical ones. There is a proper hump under the palm and a thumb shelf that means the hand relaxes instead of pinching, and three months in, a long session no longer leaves my wrist complaining. Glide is superb out of the box, and the spare skates in the box are a nice touch!
Used for: 3–6 months
Left click started double firing after four months
Two stars, and it pains me because the shape is lovely. The left click started double firing at about the four month mark. Single click in a browser, two tabs open. It is intermittent, which is worse than constant, because you spend the evening wondering whether it was you or the mouse. Dropping the debounce in the software helped for a fortnight and then it came back. Everything else is fine. Sensor is fine, weight is fine, glide is fine. None of that matters when the main button cannot be trusted.
Used for: 6–12 months
Solid shell, so nothing works its way inside
Scroll wheel is quiet but vague
Ergonomic shape with no holes in it was the whole reason, after two years of a honeycomb mouse full of crumbs. Eight months in and the shell has not creaked once, which the old one did from the first week. The hump suits a palm grip and my hand is on the larger side, so the fit is right. Marked down one star for the software, which is another background app to change a DPI step, and for a scroll wheel that is quieter but vaguer than I would like.
Used for: 1–3 months
Fits the hand better than anything else I have owned!
Used for: 1–3 months
Quiet clicks and a shape that works all day
Bought for work rather than games, which is not what it is sold for, and it turns out to be an excellent eight hour mouse. The shape supports the hand properly, the buttons are quiet enough for an office, and being light means the shoulder does not do the dragging. Four stars only because the coating is a matte white that shows every mark, and mine has a grey patch where the thumb sits already.
