Six fans, two leads and no USB header used
Airflow is average for what they cost
Six of these are split between the front and the roof, and I have a clear sense of where they are worth it and where they are not. Worth it: the cabling. Six fans, two leads, no controller cable, and no internal USB header consumed. If you have a case with a solid partition or a long run between chambers, this is the version that makes the build possible rather than merely tidy. Not worth it: the airflow, which is average for the price. Through a restrictive front panel they are fine, on a radiator they are outclassed by fans costing a third as much. You are buying looks and cable management, and if you know that going in you will be happy. Most of a year in, that is still where I land.

No controller cable at all thanks to the wireless link
The app occasionally forgets the saved profile
A set of four in the front of a mesh tower, and my view is largely positive with one persistent niggle. The good is the same as every UNI FAN: they interlock, one lead leaves the row, and the back of the tray stays clear. Going wireless takes that further because there is no controller cable to the board at all, which on a build where I had run out of USB headers was the deciding factor. The niggle is the app. It is the only way to change the LCD or the lighting, it takes a while to find the fans after a cold boot, and twice in seven months it has forgotten my saved profile and reverted to a rainbow. Not enough to spoil them, but enough to keep it at four!

The app is a constant irritation
Lovely fans, but the app is a constant irritation
Used for: Less than a month
Instantly makes a build look finished
The build looks properly finished now
Used for: 3–6 months
LCD replaced my desktop monitoring widget
Pricey per fan
That little LCD showing my CPU temperature has replaced a monitoring widget entirely
Used for: 1–3 months
Cable management solved
Expensive
I have not thought about cable management once since fitting them
Used for: 6–12 months
All the tidiness with none of the controller cabling
The dongle occupies a rear USB port
I still think the wireless version is the one to buy. Everything the wired UNI FANs do, minus the cable through the grommet and minus the USB header, and the LCD on the lead fan makes the front of the case look like something you designed rather than bought.
Used for: Less than a month
Quick install and they look superb
Pairing all four fans took a few attempts
They look superb and the install was quick, but getting the dongle to see all four fans took three goes.
Used for: More than a year
Still quiet and still moving plenty of air
Wireless link drops every few weeks and resets the lighting
The wireless link has become unreliable over thirteen months. Most days it is fine, but every few weeks the fans lose the dongle and revert to full brightness rainbow until I open the app and reconnect. Airflow and noise are still good.
