The monitor mixes are the reason we bought it and they have ended the arguments on stage completely. Each person tweaks their own wedge from their phone and the sound engineer is left alone to mix the room instead of fielding hand signals all night. Should have done it years ago!

Nothing wrong with the desk at all, but nobody warns you about the weight. In a case it is a two person lift up a step, and I have started leaving it in the van and mixing from the tablet rather than carrying it in and out of every venue we play.

Eight months of weddings and function rooms, which means a different room every week and no time to build a mix from nothing. Saving a scene per venue has taken the setup down to about twenty minutes from the van to line check. The faders still track properly, which was the thing I was most worried about with a moving fader desk that lives in a case. The channel processing is enough that the outboard rack has stayed at home since April, though I still take a spare mic.

Small venue, sixty capacity, house desk for whoever turns up. Preamps are quiet enough that an opening band with cheap microphones still sounds respectable, and the channel processing is good enough that I have stopped patching in a compressor. My reservation is the screen. It is small, and on a dark stage with a queue at the bar you are prodding at a menu when you want a knob. The app helps if the wifi behaves. Four months in, I would still buy it again, but I would look hard at the bigger screen first.

Recording every show has changed how the band rehearses, because everyone can hear what actually happened rather than what they think happened. Sixteen tracks straight to a laptop over the one cable, no interface, no splitter. A year and a half of weekly use, no faults, no crashes. The only thing that lets it down is the wireless, which in a packed room is a lottery. Bring the cable.
