This card has moved between three machines and never given trouble, which for sixty five pounds is remarkable. No extra power, no noise, and it will drive a pair of screens all day. It lives in a file server now where the only thing it does is give me a picture when something goes wrong, and it is perfect for that!

Bought to get a pair of monitors working on an old Dell small form factor machine that has no dedicated slot power available, and it did the job for less than the cost of a decent cable. It takes everything it needs from the slot, the low profile bracket was in the box, and Windows found a driver without me doing anything. Two 1080p screens over HDMI and DVI, both at 60Hz, no flicker and no fuss. Video plays fine and the desktop is smooth. It is not a gaming card and DDR3 makes sure of that, but as a way to add outputs to an office box it is hard to beat.

Has done its job in a media box for a long time without a single fault, and the passive running means there is nothing to make noise. What you should know is that the GT 730 sits on NVIDIA's legacy driver branch, so security updates are sparse and anything requiring a modern codec is out. For a spare machine that is fine. For anything that matters, it is worth knowing. Four years of that and it has not missed a beat.

The onboard graphics died on an old workstation and this was the cheapest way to get a picture back. Fitted in the low profile slot, no power connector needed, driver installed itself. It now runs two monitors for spreadsheets and email and does that perfectly well. For sixty odd pounds it saved a machine from the tip!

Went into a NAS build purely so the BIOS could be reached without pulling the machine apart, and for that it is ideal. It takes no external power, fits the low profile slot, and adds almost nothing to the idle draw of the box, which matters when the thing runs around the clock. The DVI and HDMI outputs both work without any driver fiddling on the Linux side. Nobody should buy this expecting performance, but as a cheap way to give a server a face it is exactly right. Several months of round-the-clock running and it has not once needed attention.

Ordered this for a machine my mother uses for email, photographs and iPlayer, where the integrated graphics had given up. It needed no power cable, the low profile bracket was already in the box, and the whole job took about ten minutes including finding a screwdriver. Two screens work, video is smooth, and the fan is quiet enough that she has not mentioned it once, which is the highest praise available in that house. For the money there is nothing to complain about as long as you understand what you are buying, which is display outputs rather than performance.

Exactly the right card for reviving an old office PC and a poor one for anything else. It draws everything from the PCIe slot so there is no cable to find, it fits a low profile case with the bracket supplied, and it runs cool enough that the fan is inaudible. Desktop work and video are perfectly smooth on two screens. Do not be misled by 4GB on the box. The memory is DDR3 and the bandwidth is a fraction of anything modern, so games are out of the question beyond very old ones.
