The NITRO+ is the best built card I have owned and the cooler is a large part of why. Under an hour of 1440p at maximum settings the core sits at 61C and the hotspot at 71C, a ten degree delta that says the mounting is properly done. The fans stop below 50C so it is silent for everything that is not a game, and even loaded they stay near 1000rpm. The 16GB means textures are never the thing you turn down, and the two 8-pin connectors sit flush rather than sticking out at an angle. My only warning is the size. It is a genuinely large card, three slots and a third of a metre long, and it needs the bracket that comes in the box because it sags without it. Nine days of use so far and the only thing I have had to think about is space. Check the clearance before ordering rather than after.

Performance at 1440p is superb and the cooler is barely audible. The only faff was the software, which ignored my fan profile until I wiped the previous driver properly. Since then it has been perfect!
