Ordered this almost as an afterthought to stop a work laptop rattling around in a rucksack, and it has turned into the thing I use every day. The fit on a 15.6 inch machine is snug without being a struggle, the zip runs the whole way round so it opens flat, and the front pocket takes a charger and a notebook. Eight months in and there is no fraying at the corners, which at this money I did not expect! The one thing I would change is a grab handle. There is only the shoulder strap.

Walked to the station in heavy rain with this under one arm and the laptop came out perfectly dry, which is more than the price deserves. Worth knowing it is cut for a 15.6 inch machine, so a smaller laptop slides around inside and a bigger one will not go in at all

Bought as an inner case rather than a bag in its own right, and it is ideal for that. Slim, no bulky padding to fight with, so my 15.6 inch laptop goes into this and then into a rucksack and everything still zips shut. The strap is thin webbing with no shoulder pad, so I have left it off entirely. For what it costs I am not going to complain about that.

Turned up quickly and does precisely what the listing says. The laptop fits with no forcing and no slop, the zip is smooth and there is a card slot inside the flap I was not expecting. Storage is limited to the single front pocket, which takes a charger or a notepad but not both comfortably. At this price I bought a second one for my son!

For seven quid the expectations should be low, and this comfortably beats them. It is a simple top loading case with a zip round three sides, a strap and one flat front pocket. My 15.6 inch machine goes in with room to spare and the zip has not snagged once in two years of being opened most days. The outer has shrugged off drizzle more than once. What you do not get is protection. The padding is thin, so this is a cover for carrying a laptop from car to office, not something to trust in a crowded train with your knees against it.
