It has taken gaming, a fair amount of video editing and a stint as a work machine while my desktop was in pieces. Not a foot wrong in any of it, and that is a year and a half now. The things worth knowing. It is heavy, and once the charger is in the bag you feel it on any walk longer than a platform. The keyboard is better than most desktop boards I have used, with proper travel and no flex. The speakers are loud but thin, so a hotel room film is fine and music is not. And the fans, which everyone complains about, are exactly as loud as an 18 inch machine with this much silicon in it has to be.

First gaming laptop after a lifetime of towers and the only thing I have given up is silence. Everything else is at least as good as the machine under the desk was, and it holds over 140 frames a second in the one game I actually care about!
