Been through the washing machine and still works
The write-protect tab has gone loose
Survived a full wash in a jeans pocket, dried out on the windowsill, every photo intact!
Used for: Less than a month
Bought two and both behave identically
No reader included
Went straight into a pair of R6 bodies for a job at the weekend and neither slot complained. Formatted in camera, shot about 4000 frames between them, offloaded clean. Nothing to fault so far!

One card has covered two cameras with no fuss at all
You cannot tell the fakes apart by looking, so buy carefully
A friend bought what looked like the identical card from an auction site and his failed inside a month with half the capacity it claimed. Mine came from a proper retailer, cost more, and has been in constant use for two years without a wobble. That difference is the whole argument for not chasing the cheapest listing you can find.

Reads smaller than the label once the camera has formatted it
Lost a chunk of the advertised capacity to formatting, which is normal, but still catches people out

Years old and still the fastest card in my bag
It has been in a 90D since the day I bought the camera and there is nothing left to report except that nothing has happened. No corrupt files, no stalls halfway through a burst at a rugby match, no unexplained format prompts. It has been rained on at least a dozen times and spent one memorable afternoon in a puddle on a touchline. What I notice most is the offload. A full card into Lightroom while I make a cup of tea, rather than the twenty minutes the old class 10 cards used to take, and over four years that time adds up to something worth having. Buy from somewhere reputable and it will outlast the camera it goes in.

Dropped on a stone floor and did not care
Prices swing wildly, so watch for a sale
Two winters in a birding hide, in and out of gloves, and the only mark on it is the paint wearing off the label

Never once made the camera wait during a wedding
The little case cracked almost straight away
Wedding work is unforgiving and this has not put a foot wrong across a dozen of them. Dual slots, this one as the primary, and the buffer clears while the couple are still walking back down the aisle. The plastic case it shipped in split at the hinge almost immediately, which sounds petty until you are fishing a loose card out of the bottom of a camera bag in a dark vestry. Four months in and the card is flawless, the case is in a bin somewhere in Yorkshire!

Read speed is every bit as quick as claimed
Sustained write is nowhere near the number on the front
The gap between the big number on the label and what you actually get is the reason for three stars. The read figure is real and I measured it within a few megabytes in a decent reader. The write side is a different story: the card is happy for the first chunk of a transfer and then settles at roughly a third of what the packaging implies, which for stills is irrelevant and for long video is not. In a camcorder doing school concerts it has never dropped a frame, so it does what the class rating on the box promises. Just do not read the headline number as anything other than a burst figure, because that is all it is.
