Nothing wrong with the chip, but the value is hard to see. Six cores for this money when the previous generation six core does within five percent for considerably less. It is cooler and quieter, I will give it that, but I would struggle to recommend it at full price.

The thing I notice most about this chip is the silence. It only pulls 65W flat out, so my air cooler never spins up properly, and four months on that still surprises me.
