The KF has no integrated graphics at all

The 265KF has been the quiet workhorse I hoped for, and that is after more than a year of it. The headline for me was efficiency rather than raw speed. Under a sustained all core load it settles around 180W and sits in the mid seventies on a 240 AIO, where my previous 13th gen part would have been bouncing off the limiter and heating the room. Idle draw is low enough that the machine is silent when I am just reading email. Productivity is where the twenty cores earn their keep. Long compiles are roughly a third quicker, and I can leave an export running while I do something else without the whole machine going treacly. Gaming is fine rather than exceptional, and if games were all I did I would have bought AMD. Remember the KF has no integrated graphics, which caught me out when I wanted to test without a card fitted.

Built the machine on an LGA 1851 board and it went together without a fight. Windows installed, all twenty cores showing, memory at its rated speed straight away. Early days but the temperatures under an air cooler are far lower than I braced for.
