Sat on top of a monitor in a huddle room for well over a year and nobody has ever had to think about it, which is the highest praise a piece of meeting kit can get. It is plug and play in every application we have tried, there is no account and no driver, and the picture is consistent whether the room is lit by daylight or the overhead panels. The only thing I would change is the mounting foot, which is happier on a thick bezel than a thin one.

Bought for a small meeting room where the old webcam only ever showed whoever sat opposite it, and the wide field takes in the whole table including the two people wedged in the corner. Autofocus does not hunt, which after years of a cheaper camera breathing in and out on my face is the thing I appreciate most. Low light in a room with the blinds down is decent rather than magical, still a bit noisy. The microphone is fine for a small room and hopeless from the far end of a long one, so plan accordingly.
