Genuinely usable in a dim room
Whether you ever see 60fps depends on the app
Long one, because there are two things worth knowing that the listing does not tell you. First, low light. It is very good, but the way it gets there is by dropping the frame rate, so on a dark January afternoon the picture is clean and slightly floaty. In a lit room it is crisp and instant. Second, 60fps. It is there at 1080p, and whether you ever see it depends entirely on the app, because Teams will not give it to you and OBS will. If you are buying this for meetings the 60 is irrelevant, if you are streaming it matters a lot. Eight months in and I still rate it as the best desk camera I have used, with the caveat that half of what you are paying for only shows up in software that has to cooperate.
Used for: 1–3 months
The widest setting takes in half the house
Picture quality is not in question, it is the best I have had on a desk. Just know that at the widest setting it takes in the drying rack, the hallway and anyone who walks past the door, so the first job is cropping it back to the middle setting. After that it is faultless, but nobody tells you that part before you buy.

Holds my face against a bay window
Settings mean installing the software and making an account
My desk sits with a bay window directly behind it, which every camera I have owned has treated as a reason to give up. This one holds my face and lets the garden blow out, which is the right choice. A star off because getting at the settings means installing the Logitech software and making an account, and I resent that on a device that otherwise works the moment you plug it in.

The shutter ring closes with a proper click
Dear for a webcam
Twist the ring and the lens closes with a proper click, no flimsy plastic flap to lose!
Used for: 3–6 months
Tilts down to show what is on the desk
That mode needs the Logitech app
Tilting it down to show what is on the desk has replaced holding things up to the lens in most of my weekly calls. Fiddly to set up, obvious once done
Used for: 3–6 months
The fixed lead is too short for a tower
Brilliant camera, shame the lead will not reach a tower on the floor
Used for: More than a year
Still no case to travel with
Two years old now and still the best I have owned
