We put one under the desk of whoever is drawing that week, and the thing nobody expected was how little it changes the room. Our old workstation had a fan that wound up whenever anyone opened a large model, and in an open studio with people on client calls that was a genuine problem. This one you notice only when the render kicks in, and even then it is a hum rather than a whine.

The certified driver question was the whole reason for going down this route instead of building something. Our practice software will only support a card on its approved list, and when a plugin misbehaves nobody gets to blame the hardware.
