Bought for a room where the table is glass and there is nowhere sensible to run a cable, and this has solved it entirely. Hand somebody the puck, they push it into their USB-C port, wait about 6 seconds for it to pair and press the ring. Latency is fine for slides and just about tolerable on a video call. It has never once refused a visiting laptop, which is more than I could say for the HDMI switcher it replaced!

Working out of the box in under ten minutes with nothing installed on any machine, which is the whole point of a BYOD room. The gripe is the body of the transmitter, which is wide enough that on a thin laptop it covers the socket next to it, so you cannot have the charger and the puck in together. Awkward on a machine with only 2 USB-C ports.
