Bought it because every other mouse is too small for my hand and this one extends. That part is genuinely brilliant: the palm rest slides back a good centimetre and a half, and once set the whole hand is supported instead of hanging off the back. The rest is more mixed. It is heavy, which after a long session you notice in the wrist, and there is no way to make it lighter because the weight is the chassis rather than any added slugs. The cable is thick and springy, so a bungee is more or less mandatory. And the edges are sharp in places, which looks superb and catches the little finger.

Ignore anyone who says these are style over substance. The sensor is quick and honest, the main clicks are crisp with no travel after the break, and the sniper button under the thumb is placed where you can actually hit it in a hurry. It does weigh a fair bit more than the fashionable featherweights, and if you have come from one of those the first day will feel like hard work.

Set it up for a palm grip with the rest all the way back and the thumb plate angled out, and it has been the most comfortable mouse I have used for long spreadsheets. No pinky drag either, because there is a proper ledge for it. The scroll wheel is the standout: heavy, notched, and each step is definite rather than the mush you get on light wheels. Counting rows with it is genuinely easier than on the office mouse, though it takes more effort to spin.

Nothing else on the market lets you slide the palm rest back for a big hand, which is the only reason it was bought and it works exactly as hoped. Took an evening with the little tool to get the length and the thumb rest right, but now it fits like it was made for me. Looks like a piece of industrial machinery on the desk!
