A year and a half of daily use and the artwork has worn where the thumb sits, which was always going to happen and does not bother me much. The important parts have not: clicks are as crisp as they were, no double clicking, and the sensor is exactly the same. Battery is the one that has faded. It used to go a fortnight between charges and now it is closer to five days.

Ordered this over the plain version because a teenager in this house is very serious about the anime, and the box alone was worth the fuss: mousepad, spare skates, grip tape and a little card. The mouse under the artwork is a proper competitive one, which I had not expected from a collaboration. Fifty odd grams, no holes in the shell, and the sensor has not once misbehaved on a cheap cloth mat that has seen better days. One star off for the side buttons. They are flat, close to the shell and set slightly forward, so with a claw grip you end up hunting for the back button rather than feeling for it. Everything else, including the click and the wheel, is better than the price would suggest.
