Used for: More than a year

    Pros

    Short card, big performance

    Cons

    You pay for the size

    Comment

Fits, flies, and has never once thrown a driver wobble at me in a year and a half.

    Pros

16GB keeps big Blender scenes on the card, and it renders in near silence

    Comment

My use for this is Blender and a bit of gaming afterwards, and the 16GB was the deciding number. Scenes that used to spill to system memory on a 12GB card now sit entirely on the card and render roughly forty per cent faster as a result. Noise is worth describing properly. On the desktop the fans do not turn at all, so the machine is silent. Under a long render they settle at a constant rate rather than surging, which I find much easier to ignore than a card that keeps changing its mind. Core holds 72, hotspot around 88. Four rather than five because the ICE white shroud costs a premium over the plain EAGLE for no functional difference, and I would rather that money had gone into a thicker heatsink.

    Used for: 3–6 months

    Pros

Fits a Ridge with cable room and stays quiet

    Cons

White shroud shows every speck of dust

    Comment

Went into a Fractal Ridge where the maximum is 325mm and this measures 30, so there was actually room to route the power cable properly instead of folding it against the glass. At 1440p it does everything at a locked 120 with DLSS on quality, and the 16GB means I can run local image models in the evening without watching the memory counter. Fans are stopped until about 50 degrees, then they ramp gently rather than stepping. The only thing I would change is the shroud, which shows dust badly on white. Four months on and it still shows every fingerprint.

    Used for: 6–12 months

    Pros

Full 5070 Ti performance in a card that fits an NR200

    Cons

Runs hot and audible in a sandwich case until you undervolt

    Comment

The whole reason this card exists is length, and at 30cm it went into an NR200 with room for the front fan, which nothing else at this tier managed. Performance at 1440p has been more than I need. Cyberpunk with ray tracing and DLSS quality sits in the 90s, Warhammer runs at the 165 cap, and the 16GB has never been the limit even with a texture pack on. Two 8-pin connectors rather than the 12V-2x6, one less thing to worry about in a cramped case. Thermals are where the small size shows. In a sandwich layout the hotspot delta runs about 18 degrees and the fans have to work. An undervolt to 950mV took 40W off and most of the noise with it, and I would tell anyone buying this to do that on day one.

  • TBThomas B.3 July 2026

    Used for: 6–12 months

    Pros

Short enough for a small case and quick at 1440p

    Cons

Loud coil whine at high frame rates

    Comment

The coil whine on mine is not subtle. At anything above 120fps there is a high buzz you can hear through a closed case from two metres away, and capping frames only moves the pitch. Performance is exactly what it should be at 1440p and the SFF length was the reason I bought it, so this is a genuinely frustrating card to own. Two stars because of what it cost and because I can hear it over the game. Eight months of it now and the buzz has got more noticeable, not less.

  • MCMillie C.28 June 2026

Used for: Less than a month

    Pros

    Actually fits a sandwich case

    Cons

Needed a clean driver install to stop black screens on wake

    Comment

Slotted into a Meshlicious with the bracket turned round and there was still finger room above it. Straight out of the box it held 1440p ultra at 140 in Doom without the fans passing 1600rpm. Docking a star for the driver, which needed a clean install before it would stop black screening on wake. A fortnight on and it has not done it since.

  • HKHarry K.5 June 2026

    Used for: 1–3 months

    Pros

Genuinely SFF and the performance is all there

    Cons

Needs real case airflow or the fans get loud holding it

    Comment

Two things to know before you buy this for a small build. The first is that it does fit, easily, and the white finish looks the part. The second is that the SFF cooler has half the fin stack of a normal 5070 Ti and it behaves accordingly. Under a sustained load in a 13 litre case the core sits at 74 and the hotspot at 95, which is inside spec but the fans are at 2200rpm to hold it and that is not quiet. Opening the side panel drops both by eight degrees, which tells you it is airflow starved rather than badly made. Three stars as a small case card. In a normal tower it would be four. Eight weeks on, nothing about that has changed.
