Has been in a small living room build since it launched here and it has never given trouble. The first thing worth doing is setting your own fan curve, because the stock one ramps hard the moment the core touches 70C and then hunts up and down, which is more annoying than a constant note. Flatten it out and cap the core at 78C and the card is much easier to live with for the sake of about two per cent performance. The 16GB is the reason to buy it over the 8GB cards, and at 1440p it has not run short once. Past the twelve month mark now and I have not once wished for a bigger card.

The whole reason to buy this one is the length, and on that it delivers, going into a 14 litre case with about 8mm to spare where every other 5070 Ti was ten centimetres too long. Performance is exactly where it should be, 1440p ultra at well over 100fps in most things and 16GB that never runs short. What you pay for the size is thermal headroom. The core sits at 74C under load with the hotspot around 88C, and the fans have to run at roughly 1900rpm to hold that, which is clearly audible with the panel on. In a bigger case a longer card would be quieter and cooler for the same money. Three months of it now and the noise is the only thing I notice. Four stars, because for the builds it is aimed at there is nothing else that does this.
