The zip pull is plastic and feels like the first thing to go

Cheap sleeve that has done everything asked of it so far. It goes into a rucksack with a 15.6 inch laptop inside and comes out with the machine unmarked, which is the entire job. Four months in the only thing I am watching is the zip pull, which is a moulded plastic tab rather than a metal one. It has not failed but it flexes more than I would like.

Squeezing a laptop into a rucksack with books was never going to end well, so this went in the basket almost as an afterthought. It is thicker than I expected. There is real foam in the panels rather than a token layer, and the corners are padded rather than just stitched. My 15.6 inch machine goes in easily and stays put. The grey is a light grey, so a wet train seat left a mark that took some work to shift. A darker colour would have been the sensible choice.

Measured mine before ordering, which turned out to be unnecessary because it fits a 15.6 inch laptop precisely. The lining is soft and there is enough foam to take a knock inside a rucksack. What there is not is anywhere to put a charger, so that travels loose alongside it.
