- Kingston FURY KF432C16BB2AK2/64 is a kit of two 4G x 64-bit (32GB) DDR4-3200 CL16 SDRAM (Synchronous DRAM) 2Rx8, memory module, based on sixteen 2G x 8-bit FBGA components per module. Each module kit supports Intel® Extreme Memory Profiles (Intel® XMP) 2.0. Total kit capacity is 64GB. Each module has been tested to run at DDR4-3200 at a low latency timing of 16-20-20 at 1.35V. The SPDs are programmed to JEDEC standard latency DDR4-2400 timing of 17-17-17 at 1.2V. Each 288-pin DIMM uses gold contact fingers.

Bought a DDR4 kit deliberately, because the platform it went into is a 5800X on a B550 and there was no sense in changing everything for DDR5. At stock XMP it is completely reliable, 3200 CL16 with the fabric clock at 1600 for a proper 1:1 ratio, and 64GB across four modules that the board took without any complaint at all. That last part surprised me, four sticks of DDR4 is usually where the trouble starts. Three years of that and not one memory error in any of it. What it will not do is tighten. Anything below CL16 fails within minutes of TestMem5 regardless of voltage, so what you buy is what you get.

Two of the four run perfectly at 3200. Put all four in and the board will not complete training at any speed, including 2133, and I have tried every slot combination and a CMOS clear. Half a kit working is not what I paid for.

Anyone weighing up whether to keep an older platform alive should look at this seriously. My X570 board with a 5900X was running out of memory in Resolve and the choice was 64GB of DDR4 or a new board, CPU and DDR5. This was a fraction of the cost and it has solved the problem completely! A 4K timeline with noise reduction now plays without dropping frames, and the render cache no longer fills the SSD. All four modules took the 3200 XMP profile on the first post and MemTest86 ran a full eight pass sweep with nothing found. The lighting is bright and syncs with Gigabyte Fusion, though with four sticks lit up you do notice how much of the board they cover. Five months on, the old platform feels good for a few more years.
