First AM5 build and I picked this because I wanted the diagnostics rather than the badge. The two digit POST readout told me straight away that my first stick was in the wrong slot, which would have cost me an evening otherwise. Flashed the BIOS from a stick before the CPU went in. Only real annoyance is that in a 360 radiator case the top fan header ends up underneath the rad, so route that cable first. Three weeks in and it has not put a foot wrong since.

Hardware wise there is nothing wrong with this board, which is why it gets three stars and not two, but the firmware has worn me down. Cold boot memory training still takes the best part of half a minute with a 64GB EXPO kit, and that has survived three BIOS revisions now. Two of those updates reset my fan curves without warning and one lost the boot order entirely, which is not what you want on a machine you rely on. The good bits are genuinely good. The VRM has never gone above 52 with a 7950X pulling everything it can, the 10G port has been rock solid, and the debug readout has saved me twice. Fifteen months in, at this price I expected the flagship to be the polished one, and instead it has been the fussiest board I have owned. If you want the feature list, buy it. If you want something that boots and never asks anything of you, look a tier down.

Five stars for what it does, with a warning about what it is. This thing weighs more than some small cases and the E-ATX footprint means the right hand cable channel is completely covered, so plan the 24 pin and front panel runs before it goes in. Once fitted it has been faultless for four months, memory at 6000 on the first attempt, every M.2 detected, chipset temperature in the fifties under sustained writes. Just do the cabling in the right order.
