Picture quality itself is not the problem

Motion alerts fire on anything and an update broke it for weeks

The camera itself is fine, the picture is fine, and I still would not buy it again. Everything about it assumes you are running the full ecosystem, and when an update landed on the console last autumn the fisheye dewarping broke for the better part of a month before it came back. Two stars for that alone. Motion events on a wide overhead view are also close to useless, because anything that moves anywhere in the room is a person as far as it is concerned, and at three in the morning my phone lights up for a moth.

Detail at the edges is not enough to read anything

One of these in the middle of a workshop ceiling replaced three cameras in the corners, and the overhead view makes far more sense of what happened than three angles ever did. The compromise is resolution at the edges. Spread across the whole room it is plenty to see who did what and where they went, but it will not read a label on a shelf at the far wall, and anyone expecting a zoom camera's detail from a fisheye will be disappointed. Mounting also needs a proper ceiling box rather than a plasterboard anchor.

Overhead in a shop and the whole floor is on one feed, which is exactly what the insurer wanted. Only gripe is that the dewarped views eat processing on an older recorder
