RGB backlight keeps colours saturated at high brightness
Some blooming on subtitles remains
The RGB backlight version is the one to get, and the colour is the difference you actually notice. Instead of a white backlight behind a filter, the local dimming zones produce the colour themselves, and the result is that deep reds and greens hold their saturation when they are also bright. A neon sign at night, a football pitch under floodlights, both look right rather than slightly washed. Blooming is better controlled than the older Hisense I had, though still visible on subtitles. At 85 inches for this money I can live with that, and ten months of it has not changed my mind.

Colour volume is the standout
Interface could be quicker
The 180Hz panel gets a proper workout from the console. Colour is the standout, it makes older sets look dull.
