With a 98 inch screen the honest advice is to think about seating distance before anything else. We sit about four metres back and it is right, but any closer and 4K spread over that much area starts to look soft. Brightness and colour are good, 120Hz handles the console fine, and two years on the panel has been reliable. The stand feet are very far apart, so measure.

Coarse local dimming and a grey wash on dark scenes

The size is the only thing this set does exceptionally. The local dimming is coarse, so a bright object on a dark background lights up a wide block around itself, and dark scenes have a grey wash that you notice the moment the room lights go off. Off-angle the picture holds up reasonably, which is something at this width. For a bright room with the football on it is fine. For films at night it is not.
