Set it up on a Sunday afternoon and the desk has not looked the same since. Two monitors on the HDMI outputs, the wired network, both card readers, a mouse, a keyboard and the laptop charging, all from one connection. The thing I did not expect is how solid it feels. It has weight to it, rubber feet that grip, and the ports are stiff enough that a cable does not fall out if you nudge it. Cheap hubs slide about and wobble; this one stays exactly where you put it!

Two years of daily use and it has outlasted the laptop it was bought for, which says enough. Only thing worth flagging for a new buyer is that not every port is equal: the two on the side are fine for a mouse or a stick but noticeably slower for a drive, and nothing on the casing tells you that.
