Real optical blur means I can stream from a corner of the bedroom without dressing the set behind me, and that alone was worth the money. The clip is the weak bit though, it perched unhappily on my monitor until I put it on a small desk tripod through the thread underneath, which is where it now lives!

Streaming a weekly quiz from the spare room, and the difference against the old plastic webcam is not resolution, it is that faces stay lit when the lamp is behind them. Skin tones look like skin rather than grey card. It is recognised as a normal camera by OBS and by Zoom, so no bridging software, no account, no nonsense. The mic on it is serviceable for a quick test, but for anything that goes out you plug in a proper one

Bought it to replace a DSLR on a dummy battery that had to be babysat every session, and this just sits there. Fourteen months in, the only maintenance has been wiping the lens. It does run warm after a long broadcast, warm enough to notice when you unclip it.
