Using it mostly for filming the kids at the skate park and the tracking keeps them in frame while I stand still and drink my tea. Four months in and it has been dropped off a bench twice without a mark!

Two stars because the camera is capable and the software is not. Tracking loses my face the moment I turn side on at a desk, then swings the lens off to the wall and stays there until I wave at it. In a room with a window behind me the exposure hunts constantly, dark, bright, dark again, and there is no simple way to lock it without diving three menus deep on a screen the size of a stamp. The app is worse. It disconnects if the phone locks, the transfer of a five minute clip took longer than filming it, and twice the whole thing has needed a hard reset because the gimbal woke up fighting itself. For this money I expected the fiddly part to be the filming, not the getting it off the camera.

Bought as a travel camera and it has been to four countries in a rucksack side pocket. The magnetic mount holds it on a jacket strap while walking and the footage from that is steadier than anything I could hold. Two years in, the screen has picked up a few scratches from sharing a pocket with a phone. Everything else is as it was.

My enthusiasm has cooled over a year and a half of ownership. When it works it is lovely, and the footage from a walk along the canal still looks better than it has any right to. The problem is that it has become a battery-anxiety device. It will not run while charging from a small power bank, the case has developed a habit of not registering the camera until you reseat it, and the gimbal now makes a faint tick at the end of its travel that it did not make when new. Three stars because I still take it out, but I no longer recommend it to people the way I did in the first few months.
