Shooting 4K120 on an FX3 where the camera demands a sustained rate that ordinary Type A cards cannot hold, and this one has never once stopped a take. Longest continuous roll so far was 42 minutes and it did not flinch. The cost you do not see coming is on the desk. Type A readers are their own purchase and a cheap one will bottleneck you at USB speeds nowhere near what the card can do, so budget for a decent one or the offload will be the slow part of your day.

Swapped from SD to Type A for the first time and the difference on burst shooting is not subtle. The A1 will now hold 30 frames a second until I let go of the button, where the SD card would stall after a couple of seconds and leave the buffer crawling.

Documentary work means the kit gets treated badly and this card has been soaked, dropped and left in a hot van without a single read error. The plastic shell looks scuffed and does not care. My only gripe is the size. It is barely bigger than an SD card and a good deal easier to lose, so a proper case matters more than it used to.

Bought as the A camera card and it has been in constant rotation for two years since, thousands of clips, dozens of full format cycles. Ran a fresh benchmark on it recently out of curiosity, expecting the usual slow decline, and it came back within a few percent of the numbers it did when new. Sustained write still holds above 1300MB/s on a long file. That is the thing you are actually buying at this price, not the headline figure on the packet.
