White was the one I was nervous about and it has been fine, the frame is a warm silver rather than the stark thing in the product shots, though it shows a smudge the moment you touch it. Screen holds up outside too, I read it on a bench at lunch with the sun straight on it!

Spent the first weekend moving fifteen years of photos across, which the transfer tool handled without a fuss. What I did not expect was how much I would use the cover screen on its own. Nine times out of ten a message gets answered without unfolding anything, and the phone only opens up when there is a document to read properly. The hinge is quieter than the Fold5 a friend has.

The crease is the question everyone asks and the honest answer is that you feel it under a thumb and never see it with the screen lit. Mine has been folded and unfolded thousands of times by now and the hinge is as tight as the day it came out of the box. Updates are the other reason I stopped worrying about the price. Seven years of them promised, which puts it well past the point I usually give up on a handset.
