The keyboard case turned it into the machine I take away for work, and the tablet on its own is what comes out on the sofa afterwards. Two years on, the hinge on the case has loosened a little and the tablet has not changed at all. Charge lasts a long weekend if it is mostly reading!

First impressions from someone who has never owned a tablet: it is quicker than the laptop at everything I actually do, the screen makes the television look tired, and the thing I did not expect is how often it gets picked up for two minutes rather than sat down with for an hour. Two terabytes was vanity on my part, though.

Two terabytes seemed indulgent and eighteen months later the entire family photo archive, twelve years of it, sits on the device and gets scrolled through on the sofa without a single spinning wheel. The battery still does a weekend away on one charge.
