Docked a star purely because of what it costs, and because you are paying for a room camera whether your room needs one or not. Ours does. Six people round a table in a glass box with a window at one end, and every previous attempt washed out the two nearest the glass. This holds them. The preset zoom is genuinely useful for the two of us who use the room on our own, since at full width a single person sits in the middle of an enormous empty table looking abandoned. No driver, no vendor app needed for basic use, and Teams and Zoom both list it by name.

Replaced a consumer camera that was fine for one person and hopeless for a room. This sits on the bracket above the display and takes in the whole table without anyone shuffling their chair. The ePTZ crop is the part I did not expect to use and now set before every call, because at full width you also get the kitchenette and whoever is making tea. Colour is neutral rather than flattering, so nobody looks grey under our strip lights, which is more than the old one managed. A couple of gripes. The USB lead is generous but the power lead is not, and the room only has a socket behind the door. And the software wants an account before it will let you save a preset.

The reason for buying was the wide angle, because our table is short and people at the ends were always cropped off. That is fixed. What surprised me is how clean the picture stays with the blinds open behind us, which killed the old camera every afternoon. Teams found it straight away with nothing to install, and the same on the Mac someone brings in. The mic picks up the far end of the table well enough for a stand-up, not for anything you would record

Bought for the small meeting room where six of us sit round one table, and the laptop on a stand it replaced only ever showed three of them. The presets do the work now. Getting them set took most of an afternoon with that little remote, but in the two months since nobody has had to touch it.

Room three has had this above the screen since the spring and the booking rate for that room has doubled, which tells you something about the old setup. Eight months in, no drift, no relearning the presets, no cable wiggling. The mic is the weak part, though, and we ended up leaving the table speakerphone in place, so budget for that if your room does not already have one.
