Pros
USB rather than Thunderbolt, which is why it works with my PC at all

Bought the USB version specifically because the desktop has no Thunderbolt and never will, and it has been the right compromise. The preamps and the emulations are the same ones everybody raves about, and the box is the same lump of metal. What you give up is channel count over the cable and a bit of flexibility in the routing. For a singer with a guitar that has never once been a problem. For a band it would be. A year and a half of weekly sessions, Windows the whole time, and the driver has needed one reinstall after a big update. Buffer at 64 samples holds up with a vocal chain live on the input, and the round trip is low enough that headphones feel honest.
